TMGcore and Crossroads Collaborate to Transform the Future of Education

(Dallas, Texas) TMGcore, a provider of data center solutions and manufacturer of data center hardware, announced today its collaboration with Learning Commons founder, Crossroads Education, to reimagine how schools and universities learn through technology.

“OTTO was designed to be more than just a business solution,” said John-David Enright, CEO of TMGcore. “We will be able to fuel Crossroads Education’s mission and help students learn in ways they haven’t been able to before. OTTO will support Crossroad’s existing technology and hopefully inspire students to take advantage of the power of tech.”

One-tenth of the size of a traditional data center and completely self-contained, OTTO can operate almost anywhere, including on educational campuses. OTTO’s personalized data solutions will provide educational accessibility and processing to all levels of education. With little to no latency, students and tutors can have the entire world at their fingertips in seconds.

In addition to supporting Crossroads’ proprietary software provided in its Learning Commons, students can see the impact of OTTO firsthand. Zero-latency allows for Crossroads’ virtual whiteboard, Nexus, and management tool, Element, to work as if students are all sitting in a class together. Ultimately, OTTO will help Crossroads Education achieve its mission of augmenting education through technology.

“The future of technology is intimately connected to the future and wellbeing of humanity. Technology companies are realizing that they are not just innovators but are intimately connected to the vibrancy of humanity’s ecosystems,” said Dr. Kevin Berkopes, Crossroads Education founder and CEO. “This relationship builds on the understanding that cutting-edge technology can improve education and augment our ability to learn and develop important life skills and capacity. As we move forward together, we intend to reaffirm that technology can help our community become the greatest part of the human experience. We cannot rise unless our communities rise with us.”

OTTO technology will also enable community redevelopment in ways not previously imagined. Crossroads Education’s sister company, Crossroads Realty Group, is developing the first of its kind mixed-use education facility on the near west side of Indianapolis, IN. OTTO technology will enable Crossroads’ vision of building a scalable network of highly interconnected multi-use educational facilities at a local, regional, and national level.

“The continued advancement and access to high-performance compute and connectivity is rapidly evolving the skillsets required for the workforce. The evolution required of education models to meet this demand requires facility solutions that support highly connected and collaborative programming,” said Andrew Salmon, Principal of Crossroads Realty Group. “The collaboration between Crossroads and TMGcore will place this unique technology at the fingertips of communities that historically have not had access to this type of cutting-edge development. Building OTTO into Crossroads’ facilities will provide the opportunity to generate resources to support our school partners, the surrounding community, and ultimately the future of our children.”

Crossroads Education is an education technology and professional services company that is designed specifically to support students. Focusing on building open-access learning centers known as Learning Commons and providing groundbreaking technology to students, Crossroads helps foster a collaborative learning environment that benefits teachers, admin, and students. TMGcore and Crossroads relationship will provide students with immediately available virtual collaboration spaces that will complement and enhance the education experience.
